Overview

Before a property is valued, marketed, bought or financed, it must be understood: What are its boundaries and areas? What rights does the owner hold, and what limits them? What does planning allow on it? What condition is it in, and how much life is left? How does it perform today? This program teaches participants to read a property methodically and record what they find in a report others can rely on.

It works through six dimensions for every property: land, location, legal status, building, use and performance, and environment and sustainability. It draws on Dubai legislation on registration, jointly owned property, mortgages, tenancy and areas, and applies it all to one training building analysed day by day.
