Real Estate Brokerage
Sales, leasing and off-plan
From reading the documents to registering the deal
Overview
A practical program that prepares real estate brokers to practise with professionalism and integrity under UAE legislation. Participants learn to verify the property and the parties, price it with registered transaction data, market it with a professional listing, negotiate, and take the deal through to registration.
The material is built on the legislation itself: the regulation governing the Real Estate Brokers Register and what it says about brokers’ duties and commission, and the laws on registration, off-plan sales and escrow accounts. It covers the regulators in every emirate and ends with a project in which each participant prepares a complete deal file.
What you will master
- Explain the UAE property market, the regulator in each emirate, and who may own property where.
- Know the conditions for practising brokerage and the broker's duties as set out in the governing regulation.
- Read the title deed, plot plan, completion certificate, tenancy contract and NOC before any marketing.
- Apply know-your-customer procedures and spot money-laundering red flags.
- Price a property with a comparative market analysis of registered transactions, and write a licensed professional listing.
- Negotiate with data, document the brokerage agreement and commission, and calculate it with VAT.
- Run a sale transfer and a lease step by step, and explain the protections for off-plan buyers.
- Prepare a complete deal file, then present and defend it.
